Members kick-off the year by sharing their favorite dishes at Self Help's assisted living and senior day care facility.
Please bring a beef, pork, chicken, noodles or vegetables dish to share. Our committee will furnish the dessert.

The 2010 Asian American Film Festival will be showing films in San Francisco and San Jose March 11-21. Its official website is http://festival.asianamericanmedia.org/2010/
Chi Am will be following the tradition of co-presenting a film. Helen Kwan, Billie Lee and Pearl Lee graciously volunteered to help select a film on our group's behalf. The film, Talentime, will be showing at Camera 2 in San Jose on March 21 @ 2pm.
There won't be an official group or dinner afterwards, but if you let Helen Yamauchi know after you purchase your tickets, she can keep a list of those planning to go and email it to everyone.

We are honored and privileged to have Professor John Jung as our Speaker for our Chi Am meeting. He is from Macon, Georgia and I know that we have a lot of Southerners who would enjoy listening to his presentation.
This is a Sunday afternoon luncheon where you may bring your husband, significant other and anyone who you think we enjoy a great talk and a wonderful lunch. We have scheduled lunch at CHINA STIX in Santa Clara and Master Chef Frank Chang has promised a great lunch. So come one and all and let's learn about life in the Deep South of yesteryear.

We have a scholarship selection committee. This committee develops scholarship selection criteria, solicits applicants, reviews submissions and selects award recipients to be honored at the scholarship dinner.
