About Chi Am Circle

Chi Am Circle is a non-profit Asian American women's organization serving the Bay Area. It has been recognized for its leadership and expertise in providing and delivering Santa Clara County with community service and commitments to youth.

Chi Am Circle was founded in 1965 by ten women who were interested in bringing Asian American women together to socialize and work on different projects to benefit the community. At that time, young Asian American women lived in different areas of Silicon Valley with their families. This gathering has since blossomed to over a hundred talented members working and socializing together.

Chi Am's signature commitment to education has been its scholarship award program. Every year for over 30 years, Chi Am has provided scholarships for graduating high school seniors and community service to include supporting the efforts of other organizations.

How Members Support Chi Am's Mission

The enthusiastic participatin of ALL members is critical to the Chi Am mission.

Your participation insures Chi Am continues to enrich the lives of its members and the community we live in through its support, appreciation and preservation of our Asian heritage.

Your finanial support enables Chi Am to fund academic scholarships for high school and community college students and other worthwile community programs.

As a Chi Am member, YOU can make a positive contribution to the social, scholastic and cultural environment of the community where we all live.

Records & Preservation Committee

This committee collects, reviews, and suggests ways to store and preserve important Chi Am documents for historical archives and easy reference by future members.
